I believe in people learning all there is to know about their credit and maintaining their increased score.

I was staying in my mama’s house and we were packed past capacity. My grandma needed additional help so she had to move in with us and we had to make it work. I ended up staying in my mamas bedroom with her and we shared that bedroom together.

I was desperate for a change, determined I would leave. I didn’t have much money but I had willpower. I applied for an income based apartment and was denied for even that.

Couldn’t get a thing because of my credit.

It was at that moment that I said enough is enough.

Looking back at it, I’m glad it happened. I had to get in a bad situation to change my life around. All of the denials for a car, credit card, and even insurance were worth it to make me change.

With an 800 credit score, I no longer worry about getting declined.

In fact, it’s quite opposite. I get solicitations often.
